Hannah's Breaking Free Story
Social media can be very misleading. I have had a continuous battle with body image and have always been self-conscious of my body – particularly my thighs. Growing up, other people would always comment on my size and I quickly started going down a path of self-loathing.
Soon enough, my lack of confidence showed in my relationships and it quickly became a toxic environment. Fast-forward a few years later, and I have ended my relationship and have started focusing on myself and seeking council for body image issues.
I feel that there is a stigma around therapy or counselling, but in reality, it is such a worthwhile investment.
"It is so healing being able to talk and to have your worries and fears heard – really heard – and I encourage everyone who is struggling to seek out and get some extra support."
It is truly amazing to be a part of the Xel family. In fact, around the same time I started working with Xel, was the same time I started seeking help and receiving the extra support I needed and still need. This brand has a spe-xel place in my heart, and it is so amazing to be a part of an empowering group of ladies. It is really something.
